Tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis, one of the most well-known treatments for erectile dysfunction. It was developed to help men get and maintain an erection when sexually aroused. Tadalafil blocks an enzyme called PDE5, which normally restricts blood flow to certain areas of the body. By blocking PDE5, blood vessels relax and more blood can flow to the penis, making it easier to get an erection. This only works when you are sexually stimulated — it doesn't cause an automatic erection on its own.
Tadalafil typically starts working within 30 to 60 minutes of taking it. Because of its long half-life, it can remain effective for up to 36 hours — which is why it's often called "the weekend pill." This gives you a wider window compared to other similar medications.
For on-demand use, take one 20mg tablet at least 30 minutes before sexual activity — do not take more than one tablet per day. For daily use, a lower dose of 2.5–5mg is typically used instead. Tadalafil is not a hormonal compound, so no PCT is required.
Keep at room temperature (15–25°C), away from light and moisture. Leave in the original packaging.
